This Saturday sees the close of the Melbourne International Film Festival and with it the end of a rather odd 'social experiment'.For the last two and a bit weeks two men have spent far too many waking hours in Pop Corn and Choc Top costumes. All put together by Badjar Ogilvy Melbourne. ‘Popcorn’ and ‘Choctop’ featured in the festival’s trailer and have fought for popularity, “It’s a matter of taste.”This 'all in the name of art' project has been covered on film and will be the basis of a documentary aimed at promoting MIFF at other film festivals.Drinking with St. Kilda locals, training with the Melbourne Storm, calling in a life coach and cuddling Joe Dante’s Gremlins are just some of the events that make the final cut.The Melbourne International Film Festival’s closing film, Sex & Drugs & RocknRoll is the last stop on the costumes' journey but first it's afternoon tea with Germaine Greer.
