UNICEF: Say No to Naff
Are socks, soaps and satin boxers not at the top of your Christmas list? UNICEF New Zealand thought as much, and with the help of DraftFCB Auckland, are giving New Zealanders a chance to 'SAY NO TO NAFF'.
The campaign's aim is to reduce the amount of naff and unwanted Christmas gifts that New Zealanders give and receive every year. UNICEF have flipped the usual model of directing communications at the buyer, and are targeting the recipient instead. When the recipient says no to naff, the buyers have permission to give gifts from UNICEF without any potential dissapointment or awkwardness. The heart of the campaign is on facebook, the perfect platform for recipients to let their loved ones know what they want for Christmas.
