Ford agency-of-record, Team Detroit, tapped into a diverse talent pool that includes creative shop Mutt Industries and acclaimed surf-movie director, Chris Malloy, to create the new, 2011 campaign for Ford entitled, “Go. Do.” The campaign, which features three 30-second spots capturing the Ford Explorer and its fans in stunning photography and video, encourages the Explorer community to get out and do just that: explore.

For the campaign, Team Detroit lead the initial strategic thinking and came up with the creative platform "Go. Do." before turning to Mutt to help bring it to life. Mutt worked as virtual co-creative directors with the Team Detroit creatives on the shoot, helping to select the director and music. Mutt designed the titles for the ads by printing text onto transparencies, then shooting the titles in a variety of angles and positions to get a sense of movement and energy.
