PALM + HAVAS Montreal and Volkswagen Canada’s dealers have launched a national campaign that shows how easy it is to buy a new Volkswagen during the Volksfest sales event.
The three Volkswagen Canada television spots tell the stories of three kids who discover successful methods of getting what they want – methods they realize are entirely unnecessary later in life. Digital, newspaper, radio and point-of-sale executions round out the campaign. As Peter Viney, Manager, Retail and CRM Marketing at Volkswagen Canada, explains: “We wanted to create a sales event that is uniquely Volkswagen. Communicating affordability was very important, and we wanted to show how easy it is to get into a new Volkswagen. Volkswagen advertising from PALM + HAVAS has always had an element of insightful humour, and the goal is to make people smile when they see our ads.” PALM + HAVAS has been creating campaigns for Volkswagen Canada’s dealers since 2008.
