Surf at work without being caught out: with Volkswagen Side Assist Office. Side Assist is a Volkswagen assistance system, that warns the driver if a vehicle is approaching from behind. Grabarz & Partner Webeagentur developed an online tool, that lets people experience the assistance system: Side Assist Office. When an employee is surfing at work, Side Assist Office scans the area behind his back with the webcam. If his boss suddenly shows up behind him, a business chart appears on the screen that makes him look busy. By doing so, Volkswagen protects his drivers not only on the road – but also in the office.
