Bums are full of surprises. But the biggest of all is Bowel Cancer. It kills as many New Zealanders every year as Breast and Prostate Cancer combined. Yet, if detected early enough, there’s a survival rate of 75%. To make some noise around the issue, BBCA (Beat Bowel Cancer Aotearoa) created 'Fartbombs' located at bumsarefullofsurprises.org.nz , a website that enabled the public to add fart sounds to any YouTube videos. They could then share their creations with their friends and families. Each video ended with our message, helping us to spread the word about Bowel Cancer on social media.
