Creative Commentary
------------------------------------
This is the fourth in a series of highly successful television commercials for Canberra’s Old Parliament House and is part of a campaign to increase awareness of the new attractions for visitors to experience.
Like a friendly haunted house this ad takes a tour through OPH revealing all the characters, history and secrets the house has to offer from the Kings Hall where you’re surrounded by the portraits of all the past Prime Ministers, to the House of Reps where you hear the passionate voices of past debates from key moments in history including prominent political figures like the longest serving Labour PM Hawke vigorously arguing with the longest serving Liberal PM Menzies, dramatising the notion 'if these walls could talk'. The commercial ends peering tantalisingly through a fish eye lens into the PM’s office.
