Galicia Ambiental: Trees Of Ash

Last October of 2017, Galicia suffered the worst wave of fires of the decade: more than 200 fires declared, more than 4,000 people evicted from their homes and around 48,000 burnt hectares, more than in 2014, 2015 and 2016 combined.The action "Arbores de cinza" of the Asociacion Galicia Ambiental intends that this Christmas people put a Galician tree in their house. But not just any tree, but the ashes of one of the thousands of trees that were burned during the October fires.
