BEST TVThere's some really good work in here, but I'm going with
Tena: Control, which is the best incontinence ad I've ever seen. Sure it treads some familiar ground, but I love how manically jam-packed with funny ideas it is. Plus I really can't resist the opportunity to say that it made me piss my pants. Runner up goes to the
Optus spot which really plays to Ricky Gervais' strength as an actor; that is, being a dick.
BEST PRINTSweet, pretty
Listerine waved at the handsome dude behind me and I waved back. Of all the print, this felt like the most effortless and human to me, and the execution is charming. Runner up to
Kit-Kat for being so understanding.
BEST OUTDOOR I really love
Oreo Eclipse for its beautiful simplicity and for leveraging a natural phenomenon that lasts about one minute every 11 years. In many ways, the work was much more impressive than the actual solar eclipse, which was a bit crap. For it's do-gooderiness, and ability to grow lettuce that doesn't contain arsenic and cadmium, the
Peruvian Air Orchard gets my runner up.
BEST INTERACTIVEThere's a lot of dog shit in my neighbourhood and if I just knew how to reach the mayor of Amsterdam, I'd love to bring him over and tell him about it. That's why I like
#getthemayor. Runner up goes to the
Ford Wishlist.
