BEST TVWinner:
National Canadian Film Day: The Man Who Was Always Late. A fun spot that makes you smile and long for catching the worm. If the worm was a film festival, that is.
Runner Up:
Jemena: Owning a Dragon. Heating up your house with a pet dragon seems perfectly natural to me. Truth is that I was rather surprised by the (very short) end card. Kudos to a brave client.
BEST PRINTWinner:
WWF: The Planet Is Talking - HELP. Smart and powerful graphic solution. I wish we all listened when the planet talks.
Runner Up:
Readers Bookstore: Ban Me If You Can. Seems like a timely and clever celebration of the physical, printed book.
BEST OUTDOOR Winner:
The Survivors Trust: Guilty Clothes. Hard-hitting and thought provoking. This strategically placed stunt gets the message across.
Runner Up:
Betsy Beer: The First Beer Scientifically Crafted For 35,000ft. Who doesn't like beer?
BEST INTERACTIVEThe Winner:
Grey London: Valenstein & Fatt. Simply a great and intelligent idea. Especially in the world we live in today. Sadly.
Runner Up:
New Zealand Fire Service: Escape My House. With VR goggles, I can imagine that this work could be nerve-wrecking, educational and lifesaving. Thank you, ad.
BEST RADIOUnfortunately, No winner or Runner Up this week.
SFX: Sad trombone.
