1998- 2009- Founder and Creative Director of Famous House of
Animation – in partnership with Famous Studios Ltd, Mumbai

Work Profile: Suresh has led a team for over a decade that
has created animation films in 2D, 3D and pioneered Clay/Stop
motion in advertising films in India, at a time when animation
was relatively a new medium in the country as compared to the
west. With his firm belief in the design process for
solutions, Suresh has been instrumental in creating a market
for animated ad films by going beyond the traditional way of
technique and storytelling that was popular then in India. His
path breaking exploration of new styles to tell things
differently yet effectively is perhaps the reason for an
audience and a whole new industry that heralds an exciting
phase of Indian animation.

agencies, TV channels and corporate entities make a large
roster of Eeksaurus’ clients. With a state of the art
technology and infrastructure steered by 35 skillful creative
minds, Studio Eeksaurus today is 3 years and 70 films old.

A diverse and huge portfolio of over 300 films- each film
looks different from the other, not because it is intended
that way but has evolved by the way of design to assume it’s
unique and different style.

Being a trained Carnatic musician
(Indian classical music) Suresh works closely with musicians
for the sound and music in all his films, as he believes sound
and music is of as much essence as is the visual narrative.

These films range from TV commercials, short films, music
videos, and most recently a plunge in long format feature.
Suresh has been on the jury panel of the cutting edge, akin to
the Oscars for Advertising- The Clio Awards since 2007 till
date in the ‘technique in animation and visual effects’
categories.

He has also been part of the jury panel for Asia
Image Apollo Awards, Singapore for 3 consecutive years.
Besides conducting workshops and short courses for animation
students across the mushrooming film/design schools in India,
Suresh regularly attends seminars and conferences to share his
greater vision for the animation film industry to create
Indian content for the Indian masses. He is on the advisory
panel to the Minister of Information and Broadcast to make
Indian content a serious agenda for the future of the
animation industry of the country.
