Augusto Correia, aka Jesus, is a Brazilian Creative Director with 20 years of experience.
He’s currently working at Publicis Middle East in Dubai, where he leads the Pizza Hut account in the region, across 7 different markets. He also holds a chair in Miami Ad School where he mentors upcoming creatives to achieve their best.
Throughout his career he’s worked in a multitude of agencies - from local to big networks - and with dozens of clients from all kinds of industries. From Volvo to KFC, from Coca-Cola to L'Oréal, from Apple to GSK.
At his last gig before moving to Dubai, his work helped Grey Brazil to be the most Brazilian awarded agency at Cannes Lions for the second year in a row, which made Grey Brazil the top 1 Grey office in the word.
He believes advertising has only 2 ways to be relevant: being useful or being entertaining.
With that in mind he was lucky enough to earn over 500 awards through the years, including D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio Awards, LIA, Effie, New York Festivals, Webby Awards, FWA, etc.
From getting over 1000 animals adopted in a year to having the meaning of a word changed in the dictionary in order to help LGBTQIA+ families keeping their rights, his work had several social impacts.
To the point that two different laws have changed in Brazil as direct result of his projects.
To achieve such results, Augusto believes in the power of collaboration and kindness as the fuel to build relationships and a healthy environment that allows talents to thrive.
