BEST TVAs a piece of pure provocation, I really liked
#WomenNotObjects the most. It packs a powerful, hard-hitting message, and it does so with a perfect balance of humour and intelligence that's all too rare. Well done.
As a piece of pure film-making, my runner up is the
adidas originals spot. Anchored by a killer track, it gets right all the little bits and pieces that can go horribly wrong.
BEST PRINTThe
Volkswagen ACC System print stood out for me for it's originality and eye-catchery.
And the
vodka swilling dolls get runner-up.
BEST OUTDOOR It should have happened decades ago, but
the Evolution of Barbie gets my vote. Although the case-study soundtrack nearly killed me, it's great to see an agency given a chance to influence the product in this way. I wish it happened more.
Runner up to
McCharging.
BEST INTERACTIVEChristian Soderholm's
Spotify Portfolio is the freshest idea of the bunch. Give us a call mate.
Runner up to
Mountain Dew Pre-Roll.
This week's guest judge is Eric Quennoy, executive creative director, Wieden Kennedy, Amsterdam.
Eric has made some nice ads, collected some awards, won some new business, and made some great case studies which boast of outrageously big viewing numbers. He likes his job most of the time, but much prefers time with his wife and two boys.
