Ensuring the NYSE was 'swimming in gold' for the day to launch The Perth Mint's AAAU ETF, including an internal and external branded takeover and closing bell ring ceremony, the centrepiece of the activation was the world's largest gold coin, weighing one tonne and worth over AU$60 million. In a logistically challenging operation, the coin, which is usually on display at The Perth Mint was shipped to New York specifically for the event.
The brand activation and visual identity was created by The Brand Agency, to generate media interest around the launch and further strengthen The Perth Mint's position as a global leader in precious metals.
