The online restaurant, exclusively for Amsterdammers, was only open for two days. The menu consists of three “iconic Lay’s flavours chips” that bore the names of the fast food restaurants KFC, Subway and Pizza Hut. For those who have not yet managed to get their hands on the chip bags anywhere else, the appropriately named Lay’s Iconic Restaurant offers a solution. The promotion was developed in collaboration with advertising agency Fitzroy Amsterdam. If you live in Amsterdam, you could order the different kinds of crisps on Uber Eats on Thursday June the 3 and Friday the 4th between 3 and 9 p.m.. The bags were delivered in the well-known and popular packaging of the original dishes. Like the KFC bucket, the Subway wrapper or the Pizza Hut pizza box. No need to get a bowl, you can eat it the restaurant way. After two days everything was sold out. We had a lot of happy faces and even Uber Eats could enjoy the wittiness. We even became the first non-existent restaurant with a 5-star rating.
