AAMI knows that 'clangers' happen in footy and in life. As a major sponsor of the AFL, AAMI wanted to show fans that they were there to cover them when they experience their own 'clangers' – when things go wrong or they make a mistake. So AAMI teamed up with cult singer/songwriter Mike Brady, an Australian icon with major cultural significance to AFL culture. Together we created the song, ‘Ode to the Mighty Clanger’ that heroes 'clangers' and lets footy fans know that they can rely on AAMI when they do. The song aired on Triple M & 3AW radio before the first bounce and also at the height of the Channel 7 AFL Grand Final Coverage.
