Call of Duty creates an epic military cadence filled with Nicki Minaj, Pete Davidson, Lil Baby, Kane Brown, Bukayo Saka, Lando Norris and squads from all over the world to launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, available globally on October 28th. Every year, the release of a new Call of Duty game is a major global cultural moment, where everyone rallies their squads together to jump into the game together. In the new TV campaign, Activision aims to capture that hype and energy with the star-studded campaign created with 72andSunny. The TV campaign, called ‘Squad Up’, also features Los Angeles Rams Defensive Backs Jalen Ramsey and David Long Jr. and Faze Clan’s Nuke Squad which is comprised of FaZe Swagg, FaZe Santana, FaZe JSmooth and FaZe Booya. In the film, the stars lead a military cadence - the traditional call-and-response work chant sung by military personnel while running or marching - throughout a number of their own individual squads and scenes, linked together to form one epic cadence. Directed by Valentin Petit, it takes the viewer on a visual journey around the world transitioning seamlessly from scene to scene to show everyone, no matter their location, uniting to jump into the new game.
