Inventive as it is hilarious, the film follows a small group of friends on their travels around the Netherlands and the comic cultural shock that ensues when they realise every new place has a different name for Heineken. The goal behind this campaign was to give the spotlight to the many nicknames associated with the brand while emphasising the universal enjoyment that Heineken brings to every occasion. Although 150 years is certainly something to celebrate, Heineken decided to focus on consumers' perceptions and experiences of the brand rather than the history of the company.
