Thomas Cook: Deflatables
Millions of inflatables are discarded by holidaymakers each year. Left behind on beaches or thrown away to landfill, the forgotten inflatables contribute to plastic pollution in the ocean and prove a severe threat to marine wildlife and ecosystems.
Thomas Cook and the Marine Conservation Society have launched a new campaign by McCann Birmingham to raise awareness of the environmental impact of abandoned inflatables. Running across OOH, including airports, and social throughout the summer, the stark images of a deflated dolphin, turtle and whale provide a shocking reminder of the impact of ditching lilos and rubber rings.
