Description
------------------------------------ Perry Westwoods latest RACV spots for Clemengers Melbourne takes the audience through a series of everyday calamities, where disaster is happily resolved courtesy of RACV. RACV are all about people, so writer Alf Lee and art director Gus Johnston wanted the bad to good transitions to feel human and emotional. Transforming a flooded shop, burnt-out house, crashed car and ransacked home back to normal in one in-camera shot presented a lot of challenges but the transitions worked well thanks in main to clever cinematography and set design. Combined with Lisa Millers haunting version of Solomon Burkes If you need me the effect gave the ads an intriguing point of difference and an engaging charm.
