The film plunges us into a strange and astounding world where ordinary, everyday items work not on electricity but on petrol. Razors, hair dryers, televisions, computers, credit card readers all driven by tiny petrol engines, with each one sporting a smoke-exhaling exhaust pipe. The people around seem to find this normal, but they're the only ones who do!! A voiceover then tells us: 'You've already switched to electricity for all sorts of things, so why not for travel?'
We now see a young woman in her garage disconnecting a plug from her Renault car. The car starts and moves silently off up the road. Packshot: Renault Z.E. 100% electric, 0% emissions.
