Possibly, you have used this chance successfully, possibly not. According to statistics, 70 per cent of sufferers would have stayed alive, if theyhad received first aid in time. These numbers sound quite shocking, don't they?
It is not always possible for everyone to provide proper initial care because of the lack of special trainingcourses and credible informational resources, followed by a low level of awareness towards this problem in our society. It is hard to deny that such skills are vitallyimportant, especially in the context of the current situation in our country. However, a simple idea can make our lives much easier even during hard times like these. About the project First Mobile Aid mobile application, created with thehelp of Boris clinic, the biggest private hospital in Ukraine, was set up as an attempt to solve an important problem, not as a commercial project. It is supposed to help users provide non-expert medical care in case of injuries, fractures, heart attacks and other accidents. The application contains 4 sections including a map showing hospitals nearby and an emergency call button, along with detailed text and video instructions, which make it easy for everyone to perform all necessary steps. Even though no media advertising has been engaged in the promotion campaign, the application turned out to be a great success thanks to word-of-mouth marketing.Technical and production support has been performed by Grape advertising agency and Kyivstar, the largest Ukrainian mobile phone operator. First Mobile Aid is an effectively working social project demonstrating significant results and extremely positive feedback. Within a 3 month period the number of installations reached more then 21500 uploads.
