Wikimedia Foundation: The Equal Edit

Sweden is a trailblazer in gender equality but Swedish history is often written by men. And so it mostly includes men. Swedish history is filled with influential women. But if you look at Sweden's history on Swedish Wikipedia, you wouldn't know it. Which is why Wenderfalck created the 'The Equal Edit' an initiative to make history articles on Swedish Wikipedia more gender equal. In true Wikipedia fashion we invited everyone to edit Swedish history articles. Creating a history where both men and women are mentioned. 'The Equal Edit' tells the untold story of influential women in Swedish history.
