MOIRAI Films, a new and dynamic production company, announces the release of its latest commercial for Kraken Rum - ‘Tale of Gold’. Directed by the multi-award winning filmmaker Rich Lee and produced by Vanessa Lanci, the commercial from Mekanism showcases the bold and adventurous spirit of the brand in a unique and visually stunning way. Kraken Rum is known for its rich and complex spiced flavour, as well as its association with the legendary sea creature, the Kraken. MOIRAI Films and Rich Lee have captured this essence in their latest production, bringing to life the mysterious and fascinating world of the Kraken through stunning cinematography by Christopher Probst, ASC and captivating storytelling. The commercial opens on a lighthouse during a dark and stormy night, with a traveller and lighthouse keeper telling the tale of a gang of pirates and rum peddlers who are out to steal the gold spiced rum which is hidden deep within the Kraken’s keep. But when the beast discovers a plot to steal its treasure, its massive and menacing tentacles emerge…
