W+K Amsterdam came up with the idea of taking the visitors into a behind-the-scenes animated 'documentary' about the Happiness Factory, where a film crew interviews the workers going about their business. For this film, real people working at Coca-Cola were interviewed and their responses placed in the mouth of the animated characters of the Happiness Factory. The World of Coca-Cola is the number 1 indoor attraction in Atlanta and the number 2 corporate attraction in the world. Opened in 1990, World of Coca-Cola has averaged around 800,000 visitors per year since its conception. Aiming at going one step further and keeping up with the new generation of corporate attractions, the New World of Coca-Cola opened to visitors in April 2007. Creative Commentary ------------------------------------ The DDB agency uses daltonism as an excuse to communicate a concept full of emotion. More than to rely on other peopleâs opinion, the most important thing is how we choose to look around us. The photography of the spot produced by Agosto uses bizarre color shifts to insert us in a strange universe of green blood, red martians and blue sunflowers. Everyday objects take this way a new aspect and we realize that even the most evident things can become relative. Director Nacho Gayán uses surrealistic and conceptual humor to celebrate the triumph of passionate will against perception. Click here to view this spot From Tandem DDB Spain & Agosto - new Audi work![]() A few words from the creatives: 600 bottles and one Audi car. 600 glass bottles, several days of intensive testing in a Formula 1 circuit and a week shooting in Sudafrica were necessary for the production company Agosto to do this Audi advert. Is it possible to use a car as a musical instrument? Thatâs the question that Tandem DDB agency made to director Nacho Gayán. Named âIn Crescendoâ, the spot that promotes Audi A3 series, charms with its suitable simplicity. Nothing as beautiful as reality. Under this spirit the production details were carefully crafted: 1,500 meters of a central street in Cape Town, the live sound of 600 glass bottles and one Audi car as unique performer of this visual symphony. Probably, this has been the first time in history that a pilot drove under Wolgang Amadeus Mozartâs conducting. The Golf Plus ad came with a very clear brief: We had a Golf but bigger. We wanted this new model to have the same âirreverentâ spirit that the Golf has in Spain. But without forgetting the importance of its carrying capacity. The poor Golf Plus driver doesnât know whatâs waiting for him when he gets home to his girlfriend. We decided to shoot this ad with Paul Arden (an advertising institution!) because we knew it was a classic Volkswagen ad. Like the old ones. A nice little story with a surprising end. We shot in the South of France and in The Basque Country. Both very beautiful places and were we could take advantage of the excellent food! Little present on the communication front for the last few years, the Moulinex brand is back in force on the small screen with a new international campaign, and a modern and friendly tone. Moulinex has signed a series of spots with Publicis Conseil (11 films covering 25 countries) to promote a range of ultra-easy to use food preparation devices. The French brand puts an end to the burdens of cooking. The task of preparing is fast: you go directly from the ingredient to the dish! Through these films, Publicis Conseil creates an audacious and modern universe for the brand fitting in totally with todayâs trends. It is aimed at those who enjoy great meals but donât want to spend all their time in the kitchen. The films shows an ideal world where the characters move about their daily life naturally, but for whom, the burden of cooking is nothing but a bad memory : we see a woman take a piece of meat with a fork, the steak falls minced to the plate ; a pumpkin just has to be turned upside down to serve a soup directly into the dish ; another one is kneading dough which instantly turns into perfectly baked golden, crusty bread,... This commercial was shot in Budapest (Hungary) in a working prison with real prisoners. The first time the heavily armed guards let us through the big gate our female producers immediately got a warm welcome from the inmates. Hundreds of porn magazines were thrown out of the barred windows. A rain of cheap naked women fell down on our heads. The producers put on their sunglasses and never took them of. Till we got out of prison again. Some background from the director, Frank Devos: The campaign 'Even appeldoorn bellen' is probably on of the longest and most succesfull campaigns made in the Netherlands the last 20 years. It's difficult to make a translation. It means a little bit 'JUST CALL US', but you have to know that Appeldoorn is a small town near Amsterdam where the assurance company Centraal Beheer has their headquarters. The commercial was shot in Budapest during a 2 day shoot. We shot in a real still-existing prison and sometimes the atmosphere was a little tense, beause the real prisoners watched us constantly while we invaded their backyard and cells. That's why sometimes we had to use real prison guards for the exterior shots. The guns they were wearing where also real. The main cast came out of England. We shot a lot of alternative scenes , but in the first edit we ended up with a cut of 2minutes, and that was far too long. There was also a version where the warden didn't say "you must be the Dutch guy" but 'Welcome to Disneyland'. Anyway, it was a nice story to tell and completely different from my Zazoo commercial. Its title, âMomentumâ means Nike´s recognition to the optimum moment that spanish sport enjoys. Creative Commentary ------------------------------------ Drama, danger and challenge in a weird setting where only a few people can enter... and, at the end the climax, a taunt: "Are you brave enough to be the next?"
