His work is characterised by a light comic touch and warm, sparkling performances, that have a canny knack of capturing the emotional beats of a story, while still keeping it funny.

Declan’s towering catalogue of commercials has won him multiple international advertising awards, including a Cannes Grand Prix, Cannes Gold & Silvers, BTAAs, D&ADs & Kinsale Sharks.

His hugely celebrated Warburton’s campaign featuring Sylvester Stallone, The Muppets & Peter Kay was given even more weight recently when Robert De Niro starred in the fourth instalment of what is fast becoming an iconic campaign. Hislong list of Director credits include the classic series MOONE BOY, FATHER TED, HAPPINESS, HELP, LITTLE BRITAIN and COLD FEET. His feature film with Steve Coogan, ALAN PARTRIDGE- ALPHA PAPA was No1 at the UK box office.

Last year, Declan directed Idris Elba’s IN THE LONG RUN which won the UK Broadcast Digital Award for Best Comedy 2018 and was reviewed by The Times as “…the most surprising sitcom of this decade”.

His US TV work in the last few years has included directing episodes of the successful ABC Studios’ comedies GALAVANT and AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE.
