Sometimes we like to physically pick our groceries in-store. But not every product needs to be cherry-picked, and that’s where the Uber Eats app and its grocery-delivering service come in with up to 12,000 products to pick from, all from one tap on the app. We’ll let you discover this service in an absurd 360° campaign (TV, social media, online video, DOOH) signed by Buzzman and live from 4 June. Today, even if the French are more open to mixing physical and online shopping for food and non-food items, 62% of them are still very attached to doing their shopping in-store*. As well as being a moment they enjoy, it’s above all a chance for them to take the time to observe, smell and touch the products in detail. But let’s be honest, when you go shopping, do all products deserve the same amount of attention? The campaign uses an offbeat tone to show how the behavior we usually adopt when choosing certain products can become ridiculous. Smelling a pack of nappies or herbal teas, feeling a pot of ice cream or a sponge, feeling a tin of tuna… Do you think it’s weird? So do we. Well, when a visit to the shop isn’t essential (or if you’ve got better things to do), you should know that the Uber Eats app allows you to have all your groceries delivered in 30 minutes. And don’t panic, the app offers you up to 12,000 products easily accessible from the search bar, making it easy to find all the products in a shop such as Carrefour, Franprix, Monoprix, Système U or Intermarché in just a few clicks, with the ambition to be able to deliver everything else over time.
