Scott Toilet Paper: The Clogging

It’s no secret that clogging a toilet anywhere outside your own home is a nightmare, and trying to solve it discreetly is a downright horror show. In a new, social-first campaign, Scott Bath captures the gut-wrenching experience of battling toilet clogs in front of an audience. Taking a nod from classic horror-films and inspired by social conversations around clogging anxiety, Scott Bath partnered with VaynerMedia on a three-minute video short available on YouTube and social platforms that shows just how seriously the brand takes bathroom clogs. Opening up with an idyllic setting of a woman nervously meeting her prospective in-laws for the first time, the camera follows as Scott 1000, a toilet paper made with clog-free technology, is accidentally left behind in the car. The consequences of that mistake have her leaving quite the first, and potentially final, impression. Director Chioke Nassor took a very intentional and artful approach to the entire creative concept. From the setting to the buildup and pacing of the creative, you can palpably feel the actual nightmare experience, or maybe revisit your own personal horror moment, of what could happen if you do not use Scott Bath products.
