Committed to reducing their footprint by 85%, Auckland Transport began rolling out a fleet of low emission vehicles - goodbye dirty old diesel, hello planet-friendly electric and hydrogen. But despite significant investments to create a sustainable network, many Aucklanders didn’t know, didn’t care, AND couldn’t see the change.
 
Buses aren’t things of beauty. And the technology is hidden away under metal. So we created a ‘transparent’ bus wrap to give Aucklanders a peek under the hood of the vehicle and the tech that powers it.
 
AT reduced greenhouse gas emissions by approx. 11% annually. And the Mission Electric Bus Wrap educated Aucklanders about this epic feat. The results for Auckland Transport were extremely positive, with Mission Electric becoming their most successful campaign, boosting positive brand perception. But most importantly AT got Aucklanders on board how important it is to change to electric.
