Razorfish debut Laundry Fairy mockumentary

Sun Products were featured in an episode of this season's Celebrity Apprentice. Teams where challenged to create a viral video for their all® small & mighty laundry product. What they created needed to be on brand, appeal to the target audience and be interesting enough to pass along.
Both teams failed to produce a video that the client could stand behind. The videos they made were in poor taste, with bad jokes and a handful of angry little people.
Razorfish, New York were asked by their clients for an acceptable solution to a less than ideal situation.
The result is the 'LFU 320'. Melissa Rivers stars in this mockumentary of the Laundry Fairy’s Union 320, an off-beat collection of stain fighting characters who aid over-stretched women

This mini-film and accompanying website (http://www.mariaproject.com) uses a parody of "B" zombie films to promote the "talk all you want" flat rate tariff from O2. THEM.CZ took the color and other brand elements and used them to create something completely unexpected - a parody of a b-movie starring the "Paris Hilton of the Czech Republic" and mobile phone battery eating zombies. The end result was a 25-minute film which was screened at a Prague cinema and hosted online. The campaign was supported by PR and various other actions.

This pro bono commercial, via Lowe Mena, Dubai, was a wake-up call addressed at first to all the Lebanese people, reminding them of all the slaps that we're getting since 1975. It was also blaming them for electing again and again those same politicians, for not standing for their own rights and maintaining Lebanon's fate as a conflicted people and nation. Says the creators: "We all end up paying the price of wars staged on behalf of others. It's OUR responsibility to refuse to follow extreme ideologies and fall again in the trap of civil wars. After almost 35 years of war, we should have learned from all our mistakes and this time, avoid repeating them."

Google asked Saatchi & Saatchi Russia to create an educational but engaging video that would tell people Gmail is now available in Russian and also share a few of Gmail's unique features.
Says the creative team: "Holistically the features of Gmail combine to make an interface that feels more intuitive and natural than other mail providers. As such we wanted to create a more organic and human way to talk about their advanced technology. Showing literally that it’s people who build Gmail for other people, and now they’ve done it in Russian."

Junge Helden are a non profit organisation tasked with raising awareness of your options when it comes to organ donation amongst Germany's youth. When they were presented with the original plane from the upcoming film 'The Red Baron' for them to auction on Ebay, they turned to Berlin Meat Club for help to drive traffic to the web link. Shot on the streets of Berlin, early morning commuters and passersby were ask to help out for a good cause.

Plaza Films, Sydney director Allan Moore’s most recent spot for the Whale & Dolphin Conservation Society, features a stylised giant whale appealing to the Whale Research Institute in downtown Tokyo, peacefully asking them to “Please stop Whaling”. Working within the confines of Japanese cultural protocol the spot targets Japanese kids as advocates for change in the whaling/fishing practices of Japan. Says Moore: “I wanted to utilise the stylised cuteness that appeals to the young Japanese, presenting whales with the kindness and intelligence that all marine mammals are renowned for.”

The Brandshop, Sydney launched Sanitarium brand Curios simultaneously on TV (via the 30-second launch ad) and virally via a series of webisodes and the skipharder.com website. The first 3 of the webisodes, starring “Pro skipper” Tommy Fox, have already broken. (3 more yet to come.) These have been designed to create underground interest in the product to our young male market. The Sanitarium client ended up loving them so much that four cut-down versions are now also going to run on Pay TV.
