This week's guest judge is Harsh Kapadia, EVP, chief creative officer, MRM New York.
After globe-trotting across four continents, Harsh is the chief creative officer for MRM New York. With well over fifteen years in the industry, his passion for the field began at the age of five. His family recalls how everything came to a standstill during commercial breaks as he was captivated by advertisements. This early fascination evolved into a career that has taken him across India, Australia, the United Kingdom, and North America, working with top agencies and building some of the most exciting brands. Harsh's dedication and creativity have left a mark on major brands such as the United States Postal Service, Reckitt, Motorola, Google, Lego, New Balance, Diageo Australia Govt and Ford to name a few.
Harsh's creativity has been recognized globally with numerous awards from prestigious advertising shows, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clios, One Show, Spikes Asia, Adfest and many others. His leadership skills earned him personal recognition from Former First Lady Michelle Obama. Harsh has also judged major shows like Cannes Lions, D&AD, ADC, and the New York Festival, and has served as D&AD Impact President and is a member of its Council. He has also been named as "the rising star of Madison Avenue revolutionizing advertising" by Business Insider.
Harsh has been lucky enough to build and lead teams of some of the most passionate people to help build global brands. Moving around the world, Harsh goes by the philosophy of cultural macgyverism, that mixes cultures and curiosity to find more ways in will always leads to great ideas and believes in the application of technology to ideas and ideas to technology and that a big idea can make far more than a great ad or an experience.
