I am currently the Creative Vice President at Fischer Group, an independent full service agency here in São Paulo, Brazil. Before that, I was at CuboCC, an agency from the IPG Group, as Chief Creative Officer. It was there that I met Bertrand Cocallemen, who was Chief Strategy Officer at the time and is now Planning Vice President at Fischer. Since then, Coca (as we call Bertrand) and myself have been working together, as partners, finding solutions that combine the strategic and creative views which make things less departamental and more fun, democratic and free-thinking for everybody from our team. And I dare say that, in our presentations, it’s hard to point out when the planning part ends and the creative one starts. :)
Well, before that I worked as Creative Director in some of the most important and creative agencies in Brazil, such as DDB, Y&R and BBH and as copywriter for other large agencies such as AlmapBBDO, F/Nazca S&S, Lew Lara TBWA and FCB.
So, I have had the privilege of working for the the biggest clients in the country and have won many global awards (such as Cannes Lions, One Show, Art Directors Club, Webby Awards and World Press Awards) regional awards (FIAP, El Ojo, WAVE Festival, ABP Festival) and local ones (CCSP, Premio Abril, Profissionais do Ano). Despite the fact that I am 39 years-old, I have more than twenty years of experience in the advertising industry. In 2012, I was the a jury member at the Cannes Festival in the Outdoor Lions category. Not bad :)
