Marco Giannelli, also known as Pernil, is Chief Creative Officer at AlmapBBDO.
Over the course of his career, Pernil has worked for global clients including Volkswagen, Pepsi, Visa, Mars, Audi, Bayer, Getty Images, Pepsico, Gatorade, Global Compact, HP and Nike, as well as major Brazilian clients such as O Boticário, Havaianas, Bradesco Seguros and Gol Linhas Aéreas.
These clients enabled Pernil to win 99 Cannes Lions (including 2 Grand Prix), dozens of international awards from the One Show, D&AD, London Festival, Clio Awards, El Ojo, Fiap, Effie Awards and the most prestigious local prizes on several occasions (Profissionais do Ano, CCSP, Melhor Comercial do Brasil SBT).
He was also part of AlmapBBDO when the agency were nominated Agency of the Year at Cannes in 2010, 2011, and 2016. And, most recently, the Agency of The Decade in 2020.
As a jury member, he has taken part in various awards, such as London Festival, The Cup, Fiap, El Sol, Wave, CCSP, One Show, D&AD and Cannes Lions.
