BEST TVI thought the
NZTA Inner Battle spot was very interesting and came at it from a different place but
VW nailed it (as it so often does) with classic storytelling and great performance.
BEST PRINTI liked the rational simplicity of the
VW Bad Parts ad but as an art director the insightful sadness of the
ADC ad got me where it hurts.
BEST OUTDOORNot much blew my metaphoric hair back in Outdoor. Best is
MetrôRio: Car free day leaves.
BEST INTERACTIVEFOUR: Un-Rugby this banner. Great to see a good old-fashioned digital banner shine through with a relevant message and charming execution.

This week's guest judge is Graham Lang, chief creative officer of Y&R South Africa.
Lang has recently relocated back to South Africa after leaving Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe Y&R (RKCR/Y&R) in London as the Global Integrated Creative Director on Land Rover, renowned for its creativity.
Lang started his career at The Jupiter Drawing Room Cape Town. He was soon promoted to Creative Director when he helped build the agency's creative reputation by winning a host of local and international awards, including one of the country's first ever Silver Pencils at D&AD. He was also the first South African judge at D&AD.
After being headhunted by Saatchi & Saatchi London in 2003, Lang continued to produce award-winning work on local and global campaigns for clients such as P&G, Toyota, NSPCC (anti-child abuse organisation), Sony Ericsson, T-Mobile and Bacardi. In 2008, he moved to RKCR/Y&R where he headed up Land Rover. Acknowledged for his success in embracing the integrated, multi-channel challenge laid down by the Land Rover Global Marketing Director, Lang helped guide Land Rover out of the economic crisis, whilst maintaining creative success. Land Rover picked up three Lions at Cannes 2010 and triumphed at local and other international award shows and so far, 2011 has continued to reap the fruits creatively.
Tony Granger, Y&R's Global Chief Creative Officer is an industry luminary and somewhat of a talent magnet. He brought Lang into Saatchi & Saatchi and now into Y&R. Commenting on the recent appointment, Granger says: "I regard Lang to be amongst the industry's greatest talent and expect to see grand things from him in his new role."
During his time abroad, Lang worked on some of the biggest brands across Europe, the US and Asia and was awarded across a variety of disciplines at the likes of the British Arrows Awards, Campaign, Creative Circle, Cannes, D&AD, One Show, Clio, Andys and Eurobest.
