 GUEST JUDGE /BEST AD OF THE WEEK   WORLDWIDE    February 05, 2024 11:47 (Edited: February 05, 2024 22:47)
BEST TV
Winner: Paramount+ 'Hail Arnold'. A great piece that inspires laughter and stands out among the rest of this week. This Paramount+ commercial reminds us that making people laugh is one of the hardest emotions to achieve in our industry. Good ads can make us cry, reflect on things, or even change our mind. But when a film manages to make you laugh, that's priceless. We all need a little humor in our lives.

Runner-up: Oreo 'Twist On It'.

BEST PRINT
Winner: Reinserta 'omar'. This ad is simple, yet nice. Using a recent environmental crisis to highlight an important issue is very clever. News jacking when used well can be powerful to raise awareness to different causes.

Runner-up: New York Festivals Health 'Statue of Liberty'.

BEST OUTDOOR
Winner: McDonald's 'Alarm'. In the outdoor category, McDonald's is often at its best when it doesn't try too much. People don't spend much time looking at billboards so your message needs to be as clear as possible to be effective. Here, McDonald's perfectly understood the limitations of the medium and followed the golden rule of simplicity.

Runner-up: aware.org 'Orlando'.

BEST INTERACTIVE
Winner: Sixieme Son 'Sound Affects'. This operation works like a huge twist by using the source of trauma of survivors of war and humanitarian crises and turning it into fundraising for psychological help. I wish that this audio library gets adopted massively in the advertising community so that we can indirectly help people in need just by doing our job.

Runner-up: DoorDash 'DoorDash Will DoorDash Stuff From All The Ads'.
